Last September 22, 2023 the Italian government passed a decree to prevent non-pharmaceutical CBD oil companies from selling CBD oil. Due to pressure from Italy's light cannabis sector, it has been delayed until October 24 of this year and also clarifies that oral use is legal, going against Europe. We will see how this turns out. Governments around the world are regularizing cannabidiol with up to 1% THC while governments like Meloni's or Pedro Sanchez's take steps backwards, excluding those of us who have spent years forming a sector with thousands of jobs.
